About the Scheme
The Mahila Samarth Sansthan Award is a Haryana Government initiative to recognize institutions that build safe, respectful and supportive workplaces for women.
Coverage
The scheme covers eligible institutions operating within Haryana, across government, private, educational, industrial, service and social sector categories.

- Promote safe and gender-sensitive workplaces.
- Strengthen POSH compliance and confidential redressal systems.
- Encourage participation of women in employment and leadership.
- Support childcare, work-life balance and return-to-work practices.
- Build a State-wide Women-Friendly Workplace Rating Framework.
- Recognize institutions demonstrating good workplace practices.
Implementation Mechanism
Applications are intended to move through self-assessment, document verification, district-level inspection, employee feedback, scoring and final state-level recommendation.
